Kanye West is at again…throwing another hissy fit but this time dude just might have a point! First off he didn’t win a single moonman out of his 5 nominations and to top it off he was subjected to perform in some small suite rather opening the show thanks to Britney Spears. As the night went on, Kanyezie got in more of a tizzy b/c he didn’t even get to perform on the mainstage.
“Kanye was watching the closing performance [a medley featuring Justin Timberlake, Timbaland and Nelly Furtado] on a closed-circuit monitor, and he started getting upset,” a source who was backstage told MTV News. “He started asking anyone who’d listen why he wasn’t allowed to perform on the main stage. ‘Why did I perform in just a suite?’ he was saying. ‘Justin’s my boy, but even he gets to perform in both a suite and on the main stage? Something’s wrong here.’ “
And on losing big-time Kanye reportedly said,
“That’s two years in a row, man … I’m trying hard, man, I have the … #1 record, man.”
According to AP, Kanye vowed to “never return to MTV.” Well that is until he has promote his album. Eventhough I would’ve perfered to see Kanye hit the mainstage, he really needs to calm is teddybear ass down for a sec. Everyone knows the MTV VMA show isn’t a real award show…it’s just sorry ass excuse for all celebs to be under one roof, perform, act a fool, and get waisted! It’s not the serious ‘Ye, so please pump ya breaks!

HOLY SHIZ MOMENT @ VMA
Aside from Chris Brown’s stellar performance, my other “Holy Shiz” moment was when Mary J. Blige introduced the new and improved Dr.Dre to the stage. Dude was looking like Suge Knight…swollen and all! Is Interscope records handing out steroids along with their million dollar record deals or are Timbaland and Dre sharing the same personal trainer?! Funny how he announced “DETOX IS COMING”…he needs put the weights down and handle the music!

Yeah, she had a big production, things started coming out of the sky.” But then he changed the subject to another performer: “Chris brown was hot too, he jumped from table to table.”
NICOLE SCHERZINGER: “It’s hard because being an artist like myself, I don’t like it when I’m not in front of the house and I can’t hear the monitors properly. … I dunno, it was cool, I was just sending her good vibes the whole time.”
BRITNEY ON BRITNEY: She was seen in a hallway, was smiling and very casual. She had on a white T-shirt and Fedora and was just saying, “Thank you” to people. When Will asked how she thought the performance went, she answered: “Good. Thank you.”
It’s official…Britney is so delusional, she’s failed to realize her career is O.V.E.R.!

Here’s the much talked about slap fest that went untelevised at the 2007 MTV VMA’s! Rockers Kid Rock and Tommy Lee were sitting precariously close to each other – given their history of rowdy behavior – at the ceremony at the Palms Casino when Rock “sucker smacked” Lee. The fight lasted 15 seconds and each man was escorted out separately by security. Kid Rock was later cited for misdemeanor battery and could face up to six months in jail- but that seems unlikely. Though Kid Rock was allowed to stay for the show, Lee who was on tje receiving end of the blows– got tossed. I’m just happy to see this time it wasn’t rappers…those rockers like to get it poppin’ too!
